New Delhi, September 26, 2025 – The Ethics Group of Companies is proud to announce that our Director, Mr. Vipan Jain, represented the Group at the national seminar on “Current Domestic & Global Challenges and Roadmap for India’s Accelerated Tourism Growth” held at the India International Centre, New Delhi.

The seminar was supported by the Ministry of Tourism and organized by the Foundation for Aviation and Sustainable Tourism (FAST). It brought together eminent policymakers and industry leaders, including:

  • Shri Vinod Zutshi, IAS (Retd.), Former Secretary (Tourism), Government of India

  • Shri Atul Bhalla, Vice President – Operations (North & East), ITC Hotels

  • Shri Arvind Singh, IAS (Retd.), Former Secretary (Tourism), Government of India

  • Smt. Mugdha Sinha, IAS, Former DG (Tourism) & Managing Director, ITDC (Keynote Speaker)

Key Insights

Discussions at the seminar underlined that while domestic tourism in India is flourishing, there is an urgent need to boost foreign tourist inflows through targeted global marketing and strategic promotion of India as a preferred destination.

Another major takeaway was the economic potential of tourism: with the sector currently contributing 5.6% of India’s GDP, the vision is to see this number rise to 10%, positioning tourism as a central driver of inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

Sessions also explored critical enablers such as:

  • Infrastructure development

  • Multi-modal connectivity

  • Digital transformation

  • Green and sustainable investments

  • MSME participation in the tourism value chain

Ethics Group’s Commitment

Participating in such high-level discussions enables the Ethics Group of Companies to stay aligned with the national vision for sustainable growth and to learn from strategies that are shaping the future of India’s tourism and hospitality ecosystem.

We remain committed to contributing meaningfully towards initiatives that drive innovation, sustainability, and inclusive growth in the tourism sector.
