Ethics Group of Companies participated in the 50th Golden Jubilee Convention of the Air Cargo Agents Association of India (ACAAI) in Goa, bringing together industry leaders and stakeholders to discuss the evolving logistics landscape and the importance of multimodal transportation networks.
Representing Ethics Group, Mr. Vipan Jain, Director – Revenue and Business Development, participated as a Guest Speaker in Business Session 6, focused on “Multimodal Integration: Connecting Air, Rail, and Road Networks.”
The session examined how the integration of different transportation modes can help create more connected, efficient and resilient supply chains while supporting the changing requirements of businesses and cargo movement across India.
The discussion highlighted the complementary role played by air, rail and road transportation within the broader logistics ecosystem.
Air freight continues to serve an important role in the movement of time-sensitive and high-value cargo, where speed and reliability remain critical requirements.
Rail transportation, particularly with the continued development of Dedicated Freight Corridors (DFCs), is strengthening its relevance for large-volume and long-distance freight movement. The growing rail network presents opportunities to improve the efficiency of freight transportation across major corridors.
At the same time, road transportation remains an essential component of the logistics network, supporting first-mile and last-mile connectivity as well as flexible distribution requirements.
The session also emphasised that the greater value of these individual modes can be realised through effective multimodal integration. Connecting air, rail and road networks through digitalisation, efficient transshipment processes and stronger Road Feeder Services (RFS) can contribute to smoother cargo movement and improved supply chain coordination.

Beyond the individual strengths of different transportation modes, the discussion highlighted the importance of collaboration among logistics companies, infrastructure providers, technology partners, freight stakeholders and other industry participants.
Greater coordination across the ecosystem can help address common operational challenges while supporting the development of more integrated logistics networks.
The conversation at the ACAAI Golden Jubilee Convention reflected the industry's growing focus on building logistics systems that combine speed, flexibility, connectivity and efficiency across multiple modes of transportation.
Ethics Group's participation in the convention reflects its continued engagement with industry platforms focused on the development and transformation of India's logistics and supply chain ecosystem.
The company extends its appreciation to ACAAI for the opportunity to participate in this important industry conversation and for the kind token of appreciation presented to Mr. Vipan Jain.
Ethics Group also acknowledges the contributions of Mr. Rajen Bhatia, Moderator, and fellow panellists Mr. Sanjay Amonkar, Mr. Vineet Malhotra and Mr. Aldrick D'Souza for their valuable perspectives during the session.
The event provided an opportunity for industry stakeholders to exchange perspectives on multimodal connectivity and explore the role of integrated transportation networks in shaping the future of logistics in India.
