Ethics Express, a logistics division of the Ethics Group of Companies, has successfully completed the inaugural round-trip operation of its dedicated rail parcel service on the Tejas Rajdhani Express, officially marking the launch of daily services between Mumbai and New Delhi.
The first consignment arrived at New Delhi Railway Station from Mumbai as scheduled, demonstrating the speed, reliability, and operational precision of the newly launched service. Following the successful arrival, the return journey to Mumbai was formally inaugurated, making the Mumbai–Delhi–Mumbai corridor fully operational.
The dedicated service is designed to provide businesses with a faster and more dependable logistics solution, offering door-to-door delivery in under 24 hours and station-to-station transit in approximately 16 hours. Operating daily in both directions, the service utilizes a dedicated 24-tonne parcel van on each route, creating a total carrying capacity of 48 tonnes per day.
In addition to speed and capacity, customers benefit from real-time barcode-based tracking, along with end-to-end logistics support including pickup, handling, transportation, and last-mile delivery.
Built on one of India’s most punctual premium rail services, the Tejas Rajdhani Express, the offering provides a cost-stable alternative to conventional road and air freight, helping businesses mitigate logistics challenges arising from fluctuating transportation costs.
The successful launch was made possible through the collaboration of Indian Railways, valued customers, industry stakeholders, and the teams of Ethics Group of Companies and Ethics Express. The inauguration ceremonies held at both Mumbai Central and New Delhi Railway Station marked an important milestone in the company's vision of building faster, more reliable, and sustainable logistics solutions across India.
With the Mumbai–Delhi corridor now operational, Ethics Express is actively evaluating additional routes to connect key industrial and commercial hubs, further strengthening India's multimodal logistics network.
