Head — Training & Development — Group Level
We are seeking a Head — Training & Development to build employee capability and leadership strength across all business verticals of the ETHICS Group. This is not a role that runs a calendar of training events — it exists to diagnose genuine capability gaps and close them through structured, outcome-linked development, so that training translates into measurable business performance.
Group-wide Training & Development strategy, aligned to the business objectives of each Business Vertical
Training Need Analysis across Business Verticals - functional, behavioural and leadership capability gaps
Annual training calendar, budget governance and coverage across employee levels and locations
Design and delivery of functional, behavioural and leadership development programmes
Structured Manager and future-leader development, including succession-linked interventions
Induction and on-boarding training, and a cadre of internal and empanelled external trainers
Competency frameworks, individual development plans, and measurement of learning transfer and on-the-job impact
Training MIS and effectiveness reporting, and a professional, scalable Group-level L&D function
Additional Leadership Responsibilities
Capability improvement against identified gaps · Business performance improvement from training · Strength of the leadership and managerial pipeline · Induction and on-boarding effectiveness · Training coverage across verticals and locations · Learning transfer and on-the-job application · Training budget governance and ROI.
Required Qualifications
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources, or Master's in HRM / Organisational Psychology
- 10–15 years in Human Resources, including at least 5 years in a dedicated Training & Development / L&D capacity
- Proven experience conducting Training Need Analysis and designing programmes across functional, behavioural and leadership levels
- Background in operations-intensive businesses — supply chain, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing or infrastructure — including shop-floor and site-level populations
- Track record of measuring training effectiveness by capability and performance improvement, not programmes conducted
- Strong facilitation skills, competency-framework design, LMS / training analytics, budget management, and credibility with Business Heads; willingness to travel to project locations
THE ESSENTIALS
Reports to: Director – Vision and Growth / Group Managing Director
Location: Group Corporate Office, with regular travel across vertical and project locations
Compensation: ₹18–28 lakh CTC per annum, negotiable and commensurate with experience
Progression: Elevation to Group Head - Learning & Organisational Development considered at 24 months, subject to performance
